Accommodations

There are number of hotels in Mytilini and around the island.  The main resort areas near Molivos and Eressos are bit far from the wedding venues, so we recommend staying in or near Mytilini at least for the days of the wedding events. 

Hotels with Negotiated Rates

We've talked to the managers at a few of our favorite hotels to secure rates for guests of the wedding.  You may also search online for other deals, but let us know if you have any trouble booking at the prices listed below.  Theofilos and Pyrgos are the nicest hotels in town, and the recently renovated Hotel Sappho is centrally located and priced more moderately.

Theofilos Paradise Hotel

This recently-opened hotel is centrally located just a block from the port and the main strip of cafes by Mytilini's port.  This is the nicest hotel we've found in town, and the only downside is that it will be hard to find on your first try because it is located on back streets.  The hotel has underground parking (however limited) and a rooftop pool.  Double Room (82-89€/night), 3-Person Room (105€/night), 4-Person Room (135€/night).  The rates include breakfast.  Make reservations by email to info@theofilosparadise.gr, mention the "Christofa-Gonzales Wedding." Pyrgos of Mytilini

This classic mansion was built in 1916 and has been renovated into a luxury hotel.  It's located in the southern part of the city amid other mansions from that era.  The common areas and rooms are decorated in period style.  The hotel offers parking (for only 3-4 cars) and services you would expect of a full-service hotel, and the rooms are charming.  Although not centrally located at the port, you can easily walk to the center of town in 15-20 minutes.  Double Room (75€/night, 70€/night with a minimum of 3 nights), Superior Double Room (90€/night, 85€/night with a minimum of 3 nights),  3-Person Room (85€/night).  The rates include breakfast.  Make reservations by email to info@pyrgoshotel.gr, mention the "Christofa-Gonzales Wedding." A sister hotel of Pyrgos, called Clara Hotel is located in Petra on the north part of the island, if you are interested in spending additional days exploring other parts of Lesvos.  Double Room (70€/night). Hotel Sappho

This lower-priced hotel has been recently renovated and is located right on Mytilini's picturesque harbor waterfront.  The central location is great for walking around town to shops and restaurants.  The hotel does not have parking.  Single-bed Room (30€/night), Double Room (45€/night), Triple Room (55€/night). Other Hotels

Center of Mytilini

This hotel is reasonably priced and located right on the harbor.  There is no parking provided, but you can easily walk to the market, cafes, and restaurants.

South of Mytilini

These hotels are modern and comfortable with plenty of parking.  They are both located on the road toward the airport, across the street from the sea, and with a pool available for guests.
